I think my GPU is dying... i booted up race driver grid for the first time in weeks and this all i got at the main menu:

Reinstalled twice and have the same deal. this tends to happen a lot in crysis warhead too:

I am arranging a support ticket with XFX.

try something else that is gpu demanding and see if it happens.

I do get artifacts in GTA4 but for 95% of the time it is okay. i will try to get a screenshot of the artifacts in gta4. other games like CSS ans Garry's mod are un-affected. 3DMark06 is also un-affected, i've run it for hours over and over with no issues.

Speaking of 3dmark06, each time i run it my score seems to go down ~50 points.

Do you have this card OC'ed?? I would double check this maybe it is set too high even if you have not set it there.

What about the driver is it up to date ??

I had a similar problem with my HD4870 and it turned out to be the overclock on my ram. Had to increase voltage to 2.1 to run @1066Mhz. It would sometimes artifact in gameplay and rarely give the BSOD.

That's weird. I had the same problem with my GTX 285 but then I was told to download new drivers and everything worked fine.

Maybe i should send Ati/AMD an email and ask for special drivers?

Seriously though, it was working a few weeks ago befoe i stopped playing grid, and i dont have crysis installed now (sold to to scottalot)
