well i had this labtop for about 3 years now and the labtop is at least 5-10 years old. it is windows 95. well what i need to know is what happend. about 2 years ago i was messing around with my new labtop and i thought what this square looking thing is. i thought it was the batterty. but when i pulled it out my whole laptop froze so i rebooted it but it came up something like no primary hard drive is found. and i was wondering. is it possible to reinstall windows 95 and get it going again?

If you're getting Primary HD not found after making a move like that, I'd feel quite sure something is fried. So no, I don't think you could just reload windows.

you said you pulled something? if its the harddrive you can just re-attach it, never pull anything on your laptop when its still running or else it will froze. I dont think pulling anything on the pc will fry it even harddrive.

did you really yank it out hard or did it just slide out?
Because if you really yanked it out chances are it wasn't supposed to come out!
