Is my memory clock causing my problems?

I'm starting to OC my CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103648 from stock 2.6GHz to 2.899GHz (will increase later when stable).

Last night I did this OC and ran an overnight stress test 10 hours with 0 errors. But when I started using my computer again (running a few programs and such) I got a couple of blue screens. I was wondering what the problem was, and i ran another stress test for 15 hours with no errors again. I told Bomberboysk about my problem and he said it was probably because my memory speed was too high.

This is my memory - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231200 with stock speed of 1333Mhz. When I OC'd the CPU it automatically went to 1486Mhz.

Is this speed too high for my memory, and is it the reason it is causing my problems? If so, should I lower the memory to 1188Mhz(the next step down)?

Any help is appreciated :)
