Is my monitor bad?

I love my monitor and I don't see anything wrong with it but I see all these new monitors have like 2 ms response ratio and like 50000000000000000:1 contrast

well the 8ms response time is a bit long. but its not bad. if you get a new one that has 5ms people say that you will see a difference. but you will not see a difference between 2ms and 5ms since our eyes are not able to see the difference.

response time isnt a big deal. i have that same monitor on a backup computer though, and the colors and backlight arent anything to make you drool.
