Is my motherboard dead?

Hey guys, i was doing some cable management to make my system look nice and neat. Once i was done i pressed the on bottom, everything turned on for one second the next it turned off straight away. I have reset the CMOS taken out the battery and still nothing. Im sure its not my PSU because ive jumpstarted it and is still perfect. Is my motherboard dead? even though it has a green LED on? Any help will be great guys!

Check all your connections and make sure everything is plugged in and connected correctly. If you try that and it doesn't solve your problem try to put in a new power supply you know is working correctly.

Check to make sure everything is in tightly, make sure its definately not your psu by trying another psu as suggested by 2048Megabytes, could possibly try to make sure that your cpu fan isnt unplugged or loose, lastly i would think trying to make sure your case reset switch and power button are connected properly.
