Hey all, this question is for an old HP 6350. (OLD) It is my little sister's computer and it is basically used for her to type homework and play some old games.
Anyway, the computer won't turn on. When I press the power button (or alternatively, if I used metal on the motherboard prongs), the fan on the PSU twitches...but nothing happens. It is like it clearly senses when i press power, but it never catches.
Anyone know off the top of their head what the problem might be? My initial thought was a dead PSU, but 1) it twitches, and 2) the computer had this problem before...and then suddenly one day we tried it again and it worked....
Any clues of the top of your heads? It is an old computer and probably not worth buying a new PSU...
Thanks in advance guys. You're all helpful
