Is my psu good enough?

The Main parts of my current rig are in my signature (excluding my psu, which is a thermal-take black widow 550w PSU). I am thinking about upgrading my GTS 250 to a GTX 560ti in a month or so. will my current PSU hold up to the 560, and if so, will it hold up to the 560 with the gts 250 in dedicated physx mode. If not, what wattage would you recommend for a new psu?

It will support the single GTX 560 as innercx already mentioned, but I don't think the PSU will be enough to power both the cards.

And I am also not sure about the sli for those 2 series. But you can use the GTS 250 for physx

If i wanted to upgrade it, what company(s) should i go with? corsair?

Yes corsair is a good brand.
Antec,Silverstone,XFX,Seasonic,PC Power and Cooling are the brands to stick to.
