Is s-video always blurry?

I just installed a new card in order to run dual monitors. One output is vga and that line runs my monitor crystal clear. The other output is s-video and the monitor it runs is very blurry. Is that normal or did I do something wrong? By the way, the card has no other outputs. Thank you. Frank

Svideo is limited to 720x480. It is also interlaced, which is having to be converted from your PC's non-interlaced format. All this creates a rather blurry output. So yes, when outputting from a PC, your s-video is always blurry.
