Is something wrong with my card?

i Bought a 7900GS recently and when ever i try and play a game any where from 30secs to 5mins. my screen will freeze. and little dots apper. ive tried reinstalling the drivers and direct x. nothing is working. is it just a bad card?

Pull Card out, Blow out the Slot and the card.

Re-instert card making sure it is in completely no lil bits off copper can be seen near where it joins onto the mobo, i had this same problem

i ended up bending the case a lil bit so the card fitted completely i had the tiniest bit of copper showing at the slot and it screwed up all my graphics and just froze computer every now and then.
