Is the Intel pga-478 any good

Or, more specifically what is a good plan for the ones I bought? I've been an AMD guy for years but I got 8 of these in a bulk buy last week. Specs on the box are p4 3.0 GHz 1MB L2 cache 800Mhz bus. I'm thinking about a dual processor build with 2 of them but is it really worth it? Is there a good write up about dual cpu builds anywhere? I do graphic design (photoshop, 3dsm, macromedia apps etc) and a little video work. Thanks!

The s478 chips are essentially obsolete now. If you can find a cheap stable board and ram and whatnot you could set up a somewhat cheap system (or 8) and try selling them on ebay or the like.

How much did u pay for 8 of em...how much to sell one?

IM sent :D

What's a good mobo to run with these? I'd like the option to do some basic OC'ing but I don't know too much about that yet. What I do need is stability and onboard sound & ethernet. I'd like it to be well-kitted out enough to keep up for the next 2 years or so. Thanks!

Well s478 has an annoying way of not-dying properly thanks (and greatfully so) to the S479-->S478 for PentiumMs) :)
