I was wondering if there would be any noticeable difference between video cards from the different manufacturers if you were to compare, say, the GeForce 9800GTX from EVGA, XFX, and Gainward.
The reason I'm asking is that one particular website sells the Gainward GeForce 9800GTX at a discount this week, and I'm thinking of getting two to put in SLI instead of getting the (XFX) 9800GX2 as I originally intended.
I must admit I didn't know that the aforementioned names were in fact manufactorers, I just thought the cards were named differently. I hadn't even heard of Gainward until today, but a quick research indicates that they are a respected manufacturer.
