Is there a detectable diff between pc4200,pc5400 etc?

Just wondering.. Going to build a new computer soon (first time) and I was wondering if there is a detectable difference between the speeds of ram.

I.e. Let's say I want 2 Gb's total of ram. Will I notice any difference if the ram is DDR2 PC4200 (533 mhz) or DDR2 PC5400 (667 mhz)?

Probably not unless you are running benchmarks. But DDR2-800 is cheap right now so you might as well go with it. There is a small advantage for increasing RAM speed though.
 
Just not in gaming. I remember the Anandtech article showing Virtually no performance difference, When Gaming with PC3200 compared to PC6400. Certain Apps and proccess' did benefit however, Can't remember the specifics though.
