Is there a gaming motherboard?

I read a post on here - about somebody looking for a gaming MOBO. I didn't know there was such a thing. Re: MOBO I thought you looked at things like
* type of video outputs
* No. of pci-e slots & memory - etc
* on board video processor / or none
* Brand / Bios for ease of OC ability / reliability
* Size

Is there a specific technology to look for re: gaming - I thought that the biggest factor was selection of video card - and secondarily processor / maybe DIMM Memory type.

I don't know what is 'Gaming' motherboard mean... But here is some of the Cciteria for my choosing of motherboard.

type of video outputs -
I ususally would not pick a mobo with onboard VGA, unless I need a m-ATX mobo/ on budget.

No. of pci-e slots -
It would depends on budget. Chipset is more important. I personally would not choose more than two PCI-E x16 2.0. It is because the performance of running more than two video card at the same time do not worth the money.

memory slot -
4 slots at least

Brand -
1st choice: Gigabyte/ Asus
2nd choice: DFI/ Evga/ MSI/ Foxconn
3rd choice: Arsock
