Is there a program for this?

I am looking for a program that will allow me to have my dial up, yes dial up service from my 1 phone line without missing calls. Something that will allow me to see if i have incoming calls while I am online.

Right now I have NO access to high speed andI am forced to pay 30.00 a month for a seperate phone line, which is really hurting my pocket book.
 
what about verizons DSL? Its high speed internet through your phone line, and you can still make and take calls.
 
My provider is Verizon but they told me I had no high speed in my area.

i read a while back that a 56k v92 modem would allow a connection pause to recieve phone calls but you had to buy a "switchboard". ??
 
hmm, did you ask verizon if they had any solutions that would solve your problem aside from dsl?
 
On their site, I type in my number and it says nothing in highspeed except wireless for laptop.
 
Try calling them...their site is a joke. I still am not in a "area" for FIOS yet Verizon is knocking on my door weekly trying to sell me their "3 in 1" package.

I told the last tech/seller that they need to get someone who isn't a moron to update their main site.

my friend had this thing that when someone would call it would come up on this display like caller ID and if he wanted he could choose to pick it up but he didnt have to
