I have 1.5 gigs of RAM and my startup is super fast.... but my shutdown takes forever. It stays on that "windows is shutting down" screen forever... any solutions?
but you see, thats the thing! I only have my virus protection thing from mcafee on, and my windowsblinds..... I close out of everything bfore shutting down
set the waittimetokillservice to 2000 or even 200 i havent try 20 or 2 yet or even 1 or 0 XD and if you're having this problem because you're running XP home then it might not work cuz home edition has this shutdown problem.
first of all, y wud u set it high??? u lost me there.... and also, is there any negative effects that cud result from putting that to like say 10? wud that harm any parts of my comp in the long run? and yea...i am using xp home
