Is there a way to activate screen saver right the way?

I have my screen saving to come on after 15 minutes idle.

Is there a way to activate it as I want because I may need to leave my desk and don't want that 15 minutes window that the computer is not protected.

Sure, hit the monitor button. That will save your screen the most effectively

I've just learned that I can turn screen saver on by Win+L, or Ctrl+Alt+Del, then Lock

just tried that and no screen saver.havent used a screen saver since the crt days.it will not hurt any modern monitor to stay on for 15min or so.rather than overcomplicate things,mine just turns off after 15min.
