Is there a way I can fully delete windows from my pc? I want to run linux but there is a problem with windows on my pc and it wont let linux download.

well format is the way 2 delete everything, reformat is when you format, otherwords, delete everything, then install windows again, simple mistake..

Ok heres what it says: Under partions shrink windows partion /dev/sda2 to 60.6gb is red. Under software it says "cannot read package data from installation media. Media error?". My linux disks are a little scrached. COuld this be the problem or is it somthing currently on my system?

haha windows probably dislikes linux.
to reformat you can go my computer> your hdd with windows> right click.
there should be an option to format, choose your format type and your done.
all info erased.

um... what distro are you using?
With SUSE, you may have to abort installation (click the button) and choose "Start Installation" in the screen tht appears. After that, you have to say yes for loading all of the kernel modules what YasT starts up again.
It's a bit of a bug, but it really only happens in VMware...
