is there any performance gain???

Hi, I was wondering if there would be any performace gain when using vista ultimate versus home premium of my system??? (well any system other for that matter)


I have:
two amd fx-74 CPUs
asus L1n64 mobo
4x 1Gb ram
8800 GTX

I read somewhere that there would be for this system setup but it was written before vista was released i think!!!

looking at the windows website, the only comparison I could find listed only 3 or 4 differences, all being in the software side of things
 
If I were you I'd probably for 64 bit Home Premium. I'm not a Vista user though, so I can't comment on the maturity of the drivers for x64.
