You don't need that much RAM. 8GB is plenty. I assume you're wanting this for gaming?

See if you can get a R9-270X for your video card. Will be more expensive but better performance. If you want pure gaming performance it also might be a good idea to drop the SSD and use the extra money for a better video card.

I was going for the SSD for the games (so less lag) and for the operating system (so boot up faster.)

The SSD won't do anything for gaming performance unless you load a game on to it, which isn't going to do you much good when you'll only have space for a few games and your OS. Yeah the booting up fast is nice but you will get better actual gaming performance if you spend more on the video card. You might save 30-45 seconds of boot time with an SSD but get a jump of maybe 10 fps with a better video card, which is a pretty substantial increase. If you boot up your computer once every day.

If the boot time is important to you then get the SSD, but I personally would drop it and get a better video card.

Also, you should edit your posts instead of creating another one if you have something to add, especially if it's something small. Just a little tip that keeps the forum a bit cleaner.

Welcome to CoFo. :)

Edit: Yeah the GTX 760 would be great for gaming. Better than the R9 270X too.
