Is there anyway to get an External PCI Slot?

Hello, I recently bought a video card for my desktop because my intergrated video card was shot. As you may know, computers that are specially built by the manufacturers have a really small tower. So when I opened it up and went to put the video card in, I realized that the video card was practially bigger than the width of the whole tower. Is there anyway I can get an external video card slot so I can hook up the video card? If not what can I do because I don't want to return it because it costs a total of $32 returning fee.

Your help will be very appreciated.

How can I find one that may fit in my desktop because no site seems to have the dementions of the video card.

Can someone give me a link to a good low-profile video card?

I would greatly appreciated it.

By the way I have an HP Slimline so this has to be not only short in width but also in length. (even if there is a bad one for $20 that would fit, I would like to know the name).

what kind of pc u got? was the card to long, too tall. it may not need a low profile, just a shorter one.

It was too long and tall.. Looking at the amount of space inside the tower, I need a low profile. I only have about 3 inches of space width wize and 5 inches length. Does anyone know a video card this small?

Another thing to consider is that the power supply in your tower is probably the dumpiest little thing they could squeeze in there, and won't be fit to run any real decent card. You might be able to scrape by on a lower end one, but I've seen new full sized HP towers with 250w PSUs, so I unfortunately, don't see your odds as great. Look into it before you purchase another card.
