Is there a better gaming laptop for this price ($1350 US)? Or is it pretty much the best?

Processor: 1.83ghz Core 2 duo
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce Go 8800M GTS
RAM: PC2-5300 DDR2 4gigs
Hardrive: Serial ATA (5400 rpm) 320gb
OS: Vista Home Premium 64 bit
Display: WXGA+ widescreen TFT-LCD with Ultrabright technology (1440 x 900)

wow. that is good. the processor is a bit of a letdown though. a 2.2ghz or 2.4 ghz would be awesome.

so for now that's a great price for what you're getting. hopefully soon you can up that processor.
 
I don't like the processor so I would keep looking. It's a low end core2duo. Good buy other than that. I'll post if I come across something. I love the graphics though.
 
That is a great choice. You should get it, and switch the processors
But, that vista is 64 bit. 64bit is not good for gaming.

Would the fact that i can use the full 4 gigs of RAM make up for this problem? It would also be dual channeled. If the 64-bit is more of a compatibility problem, I'd mostly be playing newer games that are compatible already so if thats the issue, it's a non-issue.
