Is there More Security Using Windows XP virtual mode?

I recently downloaded the Microsoft Windows Virtual PC mode tool for Windows 7. I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3 now on top of my Windows 7 in virtual mode.

To my understanding my system now has nearly complete immunity against Malicious Software if I use this tool while using the Internet. Is what I am saying true?

Not complete immunity, but the chances are if your virtual machine gets infected you can just delete it and make a new one or in your case download XP Mode again. I'd still install an anti-virus on the XP inside the virtual machine just to be sure.

I have Malwarebytes installed on the Virtual Windows XP mode. I would imagine if I had malicious software like a trojan virus in my virtual mode it would steal whatever information was in the virtual machine.

Yes most won't affect the host OS (in your case, your Windows 7).

Go on porn WEB sites and you will find out how good it is protected lol.

I would still use a good antivirus just in case so that you don't have to reinstall virtual XP mode every time when you get infected.

It is a sad thing to me that Linux operating systems do not work well with my current motherboard. Linux Mint 11 is so resistant to malicious software.

My overall solution is just to re-clone from my other hard drive if I get any infections or erase my virtual Windows XP mode. But if I do get malicious software it won't be from visiting porn sites. I just do not believe in that.
