i have a pentium d 820 2.80ghz and when there is no load it is 50c and like 112f my computer wasnt loding after the blue screen before but after i waited like 6 hours it worked.

i think i need more thermal paste because i opened it and it was like gone

Yeah that seems pretty high for a P4, I have a P4 2.4ghz before and it ran at 38 idle and when its under load 55, or 60 when its summer or its a really hot day and I don't have the air con on.
Before you do anything drastic like change the heatsink and fan, you should check the airflow, a cable might be blocking the way, and check your heatsink, the most probable cause would be that a layer of dust has formed across the heatsink so the fan can't blow air into the heatsink anymore, that is the most common cause for high temperatures.

i alredy got the dust out with a blow dryer the thermal paste is all gone and i get 50c just letting it sit there running nuthin but windows
