Is this a fauty video card?

New Member
Just build my own computer(for Starcraft 2 and Iracing) and picked up a ATI Radeon HD 4670 series card. While playing some games the screen will go grey and black with lines up and down on the screen and other times just freeze the computer.I am also running this at full settings. I can still hear audio but no graphics. I made sure to check for updated drivers and their ok. Any help please?

32 Bit System currently running Vista until I get Windows 7.

640GB Western Digital Hardrive
ATI Radeon HD 4670
 
Yeah it sounds like the card is dying. BUT maybe the older card doesn't like the newest 10.7 drivers that just came out. It seems like an awful coincidence that you have this issue after this driver was JUST released.

Try this older driver-

Just save it to your desktop. Run it, it will prompt to uninstall the existing drivers. Do that, you may have to reboot. Then run it again and install the 10.3 drivers.
 
If the new (older) driver doesn't change anything then you've definitely got a video card that is going out.
