Is This A Gaming Laptop

I have a rather good laptop for playing video games (though I got it more for graphic design than gaming when I bought it) even though it wasnt specifically advertised as a gaming laptop. So I'm suddenly wondering what in your opinion makes a gaming computer. Does it have to be a computer that was specifically made for gaming or can any high end computer be considered a gaming computer. Here are some of my laptops specs
1tb hard disk drive
7th generation core i7 processor
2gb dedicated AMD graphics
17 inch screen
Full 1080 hd resolution
Backlit keyboard
Windows 10 OS

Primarily depends on the graphics card in it, followed by CPU then RAM. It doesn't have to be a "gamer" machine, that's just marketing. High end hardware will game just as well in a boring black box versus an RGB lightshow made of glass.

I kind of think so too. Especially since some gamers will go as far as building their own custom gaming computer. In fact I would like to save up my money someday and build my own custom pc for gaming and design.

I would highly suggest it, it's fun and can be cheaper too!

Yeah I agree. It would also be a good learning experience about how computer hardware works together. Right now the most I know how to do on a computer is draw digital art. It would be fun learning more about computer hardware and since I learn hands on best what better way then building my own pc.

Beautiful machine! Is that a Fractal Design Meshify? I have a Node 202, they make great cases.
