Is this a good build for a friend

Hi all,

I got a friends computer to fix because their hard drive was getting full. So i did a few things on it and called her and said look it is better just to get a new computer box!

So it's almost the same specs as my computer but a little different.

Is this a good build???

is a little more expensive but to compensate get cheaper RAM, that RAM you chose is overpriced. Get something like this for $15 less

The rest looks good. Now as a side tip, if you want a little more reliable power supply, you can get this instead:

*edit* nevermind about the power supply. I don't think she's gonna want a video card in the future would she?

Budget it around $400 at the highest

Unless the person is going to be adding alot of stuff down the line I would look at a cheaper and less powerful psu. This one is receiving good reviews and should be plenty for that system and could prob add a low end pci-e card later w/o having to get a new psu.

Well currently they have a 80GB and it is full of stuff

Watch that PSU. If it comes with a case, it's crap.

the psu's that come with case are usually crap.. 29.00 for both...but for basic home use should be ok....everything looks good but get the 250 gb HDD
