Hi everyone, I'm trying to put together a computer for my husband ( ultra gamer :P ) We have a old Dimeion 8300 computer- witch was a monster back in the day..but it's glory days are over :(

I'm looking for a new "monster gamers" computer for his birthday. If you don't mind- what are your opinions on these builds? Anything wrong with them, and are they like "100 out of 100" if you would rate them for gaming?

For a hardcore gamer ( everything on maximum settings for a good couple years) would any of these be good builds?

If you would give it a rating, what would it be?

Like the first build would be like 90/100, 2nd would be 80/100..

Could i do better on any parts?

Any impute would be extremaly helpful ^_^ :D

i'd say the first or 3rd. the second is overpriced im guessing since its ibuypower. the first one would be great if you added a cpu cooler like the v8 and a nice monitor for a few hundred bucks. the third one is really nice also but whats the price on it?

:o its $2935.00 with the monitor, $2236.00 without :o

I'm kind of leaning toward the first- i plan on buying good speakers, and maybe a sound card if someone recommends it- maybe a new monitor after i learn a bit about them ( we have a flat screen LG HD TV we paid 500$ for, and we hate it..pitcure is so ugly and distorted..)

But if both where the same price- what would perform better? :o

so you would be getting 2 295 with the third one? it looks like it would be a good deal without the monitor because that is pretty expensive for a monitor. i would say the thirds the best if it if with 2 295's

i7 920
case(not the best looking, but its got room)
ram(you could get another set if you want)
psu
motherboard
graphics(i would suggest 3 if you have a screen over 24" and the money, 2 otherwise)
as for hdd's/os, you can choose your own(unless you want 3 graphics cards, then you have to have vista)

That 3rd one is a beast if it has 2 GTX 295s lol
But you could probably build one yourself with most of the same parts and save you some money
