Is This A Good Build?

I recently posted another thread like this, but I've changed my build completely and i'd like input. I'm going to try to build my first computer so if I'm missing any components or something will not be compatible please tell me . Heres what I've got:

CD/DVD Drive:LG (GDR-H30N) 16X DVD-ROM Drive, Black, OEM (Didn't link because should be universal right?)
PSU: Switching ATX 500W (Already own, can't find a link to a specs page)
Video Card: I'll use the integrated

If anyone can give me suggestions on improvements or if I need to change something because it will not work in my computer, I would be very grateful if you would tell me because that would suck . Thanks.

Keep in mind I'm not building a super computer. I just need a computer better than the one I have now which can't handle anything, it takes a minute for anything to open up after I click it, and it takes 5 minutes to boot up. All I do is browse and use some simple programs, and maybe play some simple computer games (not online, and not hardcore).

EDIT: Changed CPU to Stranglehold's recommendation, also changed my 2gb stick to two 1gb sticks.

That's alright for a first build i guess but i would change the motherboard and ram...you can probably find something better and cheaper on newegg....

I'd rather not order online I've got one of these stores right by me, whats wrong with motherboard and ram?

just buy a vanilla visa gift card and use that to buy things online....... make a free paypal account and their you go.. and for the ram i think you could get better for that price.... and go 2x1gb not 1x2gb or you could go 2x2gb if it's within your budget

I wanted 1 x 2gb in case it wouldn't be enough, then id have space to add more.

If that motherboard supports dual channel then 2x1gb would be better

Is an X2 that bad?
