Is this a good build?

I want a good gaming computer that can play crysis, gta 4, sims 3, and all the new call of duties on high settings without lag or any problems. Thanks for helping out:confused:;)

Good Processor,but like Holly said only 2Gb of ram and 1066Mhz,Look into getting more faster ram...4gb is the norm today really.
The vid card is outdated aswell..

Im taking it that this system your looking at is a pre-built system?...have you considered building your own?

What is your max budget and where are you?
 
My max budget is $1,400 and I have no idea how to build a computer from scratch. What I did is pick the parts I wanted and then the person who is selling it to me would build it for me. Ill put the Link in that way someone can build me a nice set up for under $1,400. Basically there's a lot of dropdown bars for you to choose parts from. If anyone can pick out good parts that can run the games listed above then thanks a lot. Here's the link, Thanks for the help.:D

I would go with the 4GB (2x2gb) PCI12800 DDR3 1,600 Dual Channel (although i would personally prefer 6gb but that aint an option :/)

Also i personally would only have one Optical Drive - the Lite On Blu-ray Reader, 16x DVD Recorder SATA combo drive

And i cant advise you on the video card because i dont really know which are better than others because i can never remember all those random numbers and letters xD

you only need 6gb for a triple channel motherboard.

stick with either a 5850 or a 5870 for the gpu and at least the 750w power supply.

he wants newer games as high settings without lags. the 5750 won't cut it at all for want he wants.

Logisys power supplies are poor quality. A power supply is a very vital part of a system. Cheap power supplies can cause performance issues or burn out and damage your system. I would get an Antec or a Corsair power supply.

8 gigabytes of RAM is also an overkill. You don't need it. 4 gigabytes of RAM is enough. Get the 4GB (2x2GB) PC12800 DDR3 1600 memory.

Also get the 1000 GB Western Digital Black 7200RPM SATA 3 6.0Gb/s 64m cache hard drive instead of the other hard drive as well. It has faster data transfer rates.
