The build will cost me £900 and just wanting to know if that's a good deal, Please suggest any change if you feel there is need.

Haven't heard about that case before.
Go for a good quality brand PSU.
wireless card - personally would recommend usb then build it.

It only cost £746. Major difference is only got 500GB HDD, haven't got aftermarket heatsink. . And missing wireless adaptor. But all these could easily done under £150

You don't want an mATX board, go ATX if you can. Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H/UD3H or an ASUS P8Z77-V board (so long as it's ATX).

Bad choice of PSU, go for a CX 600 from Corsair.

That case has no cable management by the looks of things, go with a Carbide 300R from Corsair or a Define R3 or R4 from Fractal Design.

Do I need the extra heat sink on the gladiator I5 ?I can live without the extra storage

Looks pretty good to me. Should be a good gamer with the addition of the 7950. Keep with your SSD choice though, you want 6GB/s for the SSD and 3GB/s for the HDD.

Any idea on how long will it last before it will be needing upgrades ? I'm hoping for a good 6 years lifetime before needing upgrades.
 
I wouldn't recommend Corsair SSDs. Go for a Crucial M4, a Samsung 830 or a SanDisk Extreme, or a Kingston HyperX.

Should last a good 3-4 years I reckon, possibly longer. Put it this way, I still use an HD 5870, released in 2009, still works fine and maxes games out today. :)
 
Looking for a similar build myself with a similar budget, moving from console gaming to PC. Not very knowledgeable when it comes to PC hardware however.
May use this!

This will run most current/past games on high settings as well as future games for a little while, right?

Mind I ask where you are buying these parts?
Have a friend who can get me them cheaper, so will probably buy through him, but it would be good to know how much they genuinely go for so I can see how much I'll be saving myself.

Really, only 3 years ? What's going to be the problem in 3 years, the Graphics card ?

Most likely, yeah... it depends at what resolution you are playing at and which games you want to max out and which settings you want to use. If you're paying at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 perhaps, I'd say you may get 5 years possibly - any higher, probably a bit less.

I'm not planning on playing anything too demanding, I mostly game on console. I only plan on playing total war and simulation type of games, I'm not into FPS on the PC. So that's why I'm hoping it will last years.
 
Yeah in that case you should be good for a long while yet.

You should get into PC gaming though... it's good. :)
 
If it's because of the controls/keyboard, you can get Xbox 360 controllers for other gamepads for the PC. I use one. :D
