Hey i would like to play black ops 2 on ultra settings.
also crysis, battlefield. and a few other of the same type of games.

VisionTek 900568 Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129266

Its the cheapest 2gb 7850 i could find. Im not the richest person in the world lol
I previously asked in a different thread what to upgrade next in my pc. And they all said video card. So ive been looking.

Thankyou

They're both the same chip, it just depends on what brand you like best. I would take the HIS personally.
A hd7850 will play every game like a charm unless you're using higher resolutions then 1080p.

Anyway, yes ultra is a texture and quality setting quite aside from resolution. That card may struggle with BF3 or Crysis to maintain 60FPS, but it will work nicely 99% of the time.

He is saying, quite badly, that if he is playing at less than 1920x1080, he can play on ultra settings with that card

1080p will play fluently maxed out too. Maybe about 55-45 fps when playing BF3 maxed out, but he won't see the difference between 60fps and that.

What are your other specs though? And what gpu do you have atm?

Yes smile makes a good point. Please post full system specs including PSU so we can be sure you're not wasting money or asking for trouble. But to answer your question directly, yes, its a brilliant card, but id be going for a GTX570 if it were me.

Sorry i haven't been on in a little while. These are my current specs. (In my signature) I cant spend over $200 USD At this point in time and I really want to stick to newegg.
Any ideas would be great but the 7850 is the best I'm finding right now for my budget and current build specs.

Yeah looks good. Double slot cards are always better i reckon.

Please download and install PC Wizard from my sig run it and go to FILE, SAVE AS and click OK. Copy the contents of that text file into this thread.

It just gives a readout of your motherboard, graphics card, ram, and other various components. He is just asking you to do that so he can make sure that your card is compatible with the system you plan to put it in.

If it is your sig rig, and assuming that everything is correct minus 1 mislabel (you have your CPU labeled as PSU), then it should work fine.

Ok plans were cut early im at home on computer.

This is it?:

I'm thinking monitor actually lol. Any ideas? My monitor is a ubx right now its quite dull compared to newer monitors. It is over 5 years old lol. I want 22 or bigger but still under 200

Bad screen quality the max resolution i can use is 1400 by 900 i believe it is. And it is dark even with max brightness and it has a couple dead pixels so graphics card then monitor then mainboard then second har drive
