It's a decent computer, but some of the options don't make a lot of sense unless it's a prebuilt computer.

edit: I noticed the warranty...is this form iBuyPower or Cyberpower?
 
I'm going to be playing more recent games on it, but no M games :(
And this computer is mostly prebuilt by Cyberpower
Also I only have 700$ but I dont care where I buy it from

Can you build one yourself? You could possibly get a better gaming system if you did that.

That one isn't bad...it's a decent entry/low mid gaming rig, actually. However, if you're using higher resolutions, that GPU could possibly begin to bottleneck you. What resolution is your monitor?
 
I suppose I could build stuff from tigerdirect or newegg or something. I could most likely put it together but I dont feel confident enough with my knowledge of GPU, CPU, motherboards, watts and would probably build some frankenstein computer that wouldnt work. :) What i really am looking for is decent ram (3-4) and shader 3.0 because right now I have 1.2 and cant play anything.

BTW monitor is 18.5 in 1366 x 768 resolution

we would be more than happy to help you along the way :) would be a nice change of pace... not too many people needing help physically building things on here lately...

yeah that looks like a decent rig but the gpu is not the best (or really even mid range) and it really depends on the psu as well. what brand is it?
 
That would be sweet. Its a custom cyberpowerpc rig and I honestly dont care about it was just something I found that looked cheap and decent.

Just to sum things up:
700$ + 100$ for a monitor that will probably be this one 18.5 in 1366 x 768 resolution
need windows 7 and shader 3.0+ and decent ram

Thanks everyone that build looks great and I can afford the better monitor. Just a few questions: What is daisy saying about the psu? And the case appears to come with a fan so is that everything then Drenlin? The computer seems wonderful and if that's everything I need then I'll order asap :)

edit: The monitor doesn't seem to have speakers which might be a problem. I have some surround sound logitech but the red white or yellow(whichever ones are the sound cables) are the hole/ jacks or whatever they're called. The point of all this is could I get some cord that would plug into them and the computer? Thanks

He was talking about the PSU on the Cyberpower machine....it's a no-name brand, which is typically a bad thing.

And yeah, it comes with a single 120mm fan in the rear, which should be fine for this setup. Normally I'd suggest at least 2 fans, but that case has excellent passive cooling so it'll be fine. (passive cooling meaning the heat can rise out of it easily)

Other than that, yeah, that's everything you'll need. The CPU will come with a heat sink and thermal paste, and the motherboard comes with all of the cables you'll need.

Also my parents are worried about me building a computer for some reason but regardless I'm supposed to inquire if soldering is needed to assemble the computer.

nope. it doesn't really require any real skill to put it together. the only thing that sort of does is the application of the thermal paste, which you might not even need to do if the heatsink comes with it already on.
