Is this a good desktop pc?

Really depends on what you plan on using this for. Couple things I noticed that I will point out:

1. I didn't see a brand listing on the PSU. (It is a must to have a good brand)

2. Intergrated graphics card (If gaming with newer games... this is not going to work)

3. Mobo and CPU isnt overclockable. (This is just not a must, as my Mobo and CPU is not overclockable as well)

If you are wanting to game... I would not suggest this one for the newer games

Another thing is it's only got 4GB of RAM which is not much. If you're going to use this for even light gaming on low settings, it will not be enough (like the previous poster mentioned, it has integrated graphics which will not work for gaming).

For gaming, 4GB is plenty. A lot of users on here only have 4GB of RAM and they can game just fine. Just the newer games that are coming out use more than 4GB. The PSU and graphics card are the main concerns with this computer, not the RAM.

I use 4GB of RAM and the only thing that's holding back my performance is my Radeon 5770. Which isn't an issue at all.

I can max Shogun 2 with 4GB of RAM. Sure 8GB would be nice if you had a little extra cash but 4 would do just fine.

But it says up to 3.8ghz turbo boost? And it says 8mb catch? What is that?... That's the processor by the way. And will minecraft lag with the Internal graphics card? Theyre intel HD graphics? Please someone WILL MINECRAFT LAG? Without another graphics card?

I can't say since I cant find out much about the specs required to play Minecraft.. from experience though, I have never had much luck running any game on an integrated card.

I run Battlefield 2 just fine on a HD4270 IGP. Just not above medium.

and OP, check here http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Hardware_performance

its got a big list of processor and GPU combinations with their FPS. I saw a few GMA listings that looked playable (25+ FPS), so GMA HD (aka Intel HD) and GMA HD3000 should be playable.
