First pc build and I want to know if what I have put together is good. My budget is $550. Please say if this is good and if not how I can improve it. Thanks
    Parts:
AMD Ryzen 3 2200G Processor with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics ($89)

    WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch ($50)

    Kingston A400 SSD 120GB SATA 3 2.5” Solid State Drive ($24)

    CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz ($60)

MSI ProSeries AMD Ryzen B350 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 Micro-ATX ($70)

    EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 SC Gaming, 3GB GDDR5 ($130)

    EVGA 500 B1, 80+ BRONZE 500W Power Supply ($40)

Total is roughly $520-$530. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

That is a good PC for the price. However, the GTX 1050 has only 2GB of VRAM, not 3GB. Also, Ryzen runs better on dual channel RAM, I would suggest a 2x4 kit, and make sure it is at least 2666MHz. Here is a set: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XJ5LT72/?tag=pcpapi-20

If you are willing to, I think you should hold out on the GPU and get everything else, then save up for a better one like a GTX 1060 or a RX 580. The CPU's onboard graphics will game fairly decently by themselves until then.

I removed the ram and asded the one you suggested and removed the gpu and the price dropped to 330 so I have like 170 for a gpu any suggestions?

If you happen to live near a microcenter they still have the ryzen 1700x at $140 which would be much better than the 2200G for not much extra.

I wouldn't get an apu if you are already going for a discrete card, higher core count CPUs aren't much more expensive.

Oh yeah, and then you get multi-threading too.

The price only went up 9 dollars with the new motherboard so its not 339

Same as before, any good rated B450 board will suffice. The one I suggested above is good.

The A400 uses older 2D planar NAND flash, a weak controller, and contains no external DRAM . This means, when compared to other SSDs in the same price bracket (drives with 3D TLC and superior controllers) the A400 offers substantially lower endurance and performance.

For a few dollars more, or often even the same price, an SSD with DRAM, superior NAND, and a superior controller can be purchased.

Purchasing an SSD without DRAM for OS use is a bad idea for many reasons.
