Is this a good gaming setup/estimated value?

Hey guys, I grew up on computers but have moved over to console gaming in the last few years. I've been out of the PC loop for awhile, but I found someone looking to trade their setup for an XBOX 360. I am considering the trade, but I would like some expert advice on whether it will be fair. If anyone could let me know their opinions on this person's setup and what they estimate the value to be, I would appreciate it!

id say that computer is worth maybe $400. it will not play any games though. you would have to spend at least $250 in order to play games nicley, and that would be to get a dedicated graphics card, and a power supply to run it.

...and then an extra hundred bucks on Windows as Ubuntu doesn't really play games I'm afraid. :(
 
very true. i agree. if your wanting to lay games on it as it stands now, then no, its not worth the trade. if you willing to put a little money into it, then it could be worth it. depends on how you view console gaming vs pc gaming. for me, its always worth investing money in my computer when it comes to games. ill choose pc over consloe anytime, so the computer will get the money before anything ele when it comes to gaming.
