Is this a good Gaming Setup?

I just put together this budget gaming setup on pcpartpicker and I wanted to see if there are any issues with this build. I plan on playing GTA 5, and Battlefield 4 on max settings at 1080p with a minimum of 30 fps. This is my first computer build so I'm not very experienced yet. But I have been looking at the gpu and the cpu and have learned that they are both great products and I also know about monitors. The only parts that I'm worrying about in this build are the PSU and the Motherboard because I'm not sure if the motherboard is a bottleneck or not and I'm not very sure about the PSU either. I just want a good budget gaming setup.

My 8320/280X setup runs max at 60FPS. I would recommend the 280 or 280X because it has more vram and is easier to overclock than the 285.

Except you're missing a case, power supply, monitor, and keyboard/mouse.
yep left those out so he could choose which ones he likes best. I must of miss clicked deleted the PSU because I know I put one, but a 500w should be great for this build. Try and stick with known brands such as EVGA or Corsair :)

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'm not sure if I have enough money for that particular setup though so

Thanks man. I like the build but it wont fit my budget if I add a monitor.

Thought so. You could downgrade to a core i3 and still get great results. Maybe try that? Also you could remove the heat synch as the CPU comes with a stock one which is fine if you're not overclocking. Let me know what you think :)

Right, but you only left $50 to spare for all those parts ;)

The i5 is slightly better because of hyperthreading and has a higher rate of performance per core than the fx-6300. But the difference between the two isn't really gigantic. Its not like the i5 would give me huge boost in fps. The difference in fps in most games isn't really that dramatic. But I have seen some instances where the i5 would gain a 5-15+ fps boost in some games. I've also seen some instances in some games which would actually utilize the fx-6300's 6 cores and have actually gained a slight edge over the new i5 but the fps difference wasn't really boosted enough to actually gain a noticeably better gaming experience. If I had 100-200 more USD than I would rather put it into the graphics card than the processor. Mainly because I'm not going to be putting 100-200$ more in this build for like 5-15+ fps when I could simply put that money into the graphics card and get like a 30+ or even 60+ fps boost with the graphics turned up at to absolute max and actually have noticeably better gaming experience. Thanks for the question though, I actually learned quite a bit from it. I learned about fan boys and things in that nature. But it doesn't seem like this forum has fan boys in it because I haven't been bashed for using AMD by anyone yet. Lol
The i5 6600K doesn't have hyperthreading, and the 6600K beats the 6300 in all tasks, even multi-threaded tasks.

"In terms of overall gaming performance, the Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz is massively better than the AMD FX-6300 when it comes to running the latest games. This also means it will be less likely to bottleneck more powerful GPUs, allowing them to achieve more of their gaming performance potential."

To add on the what Geoff said, AMD really created budget CPU's and they also don't update architecture as quickly as Intel does. Hence there's been 2 updates (Broadwell, Skylake) since the last wave of FX processors.

Thanks for correcting me. I looked up the information online about the sky lake processors and it all turned out to be some outdated rumors. Now there is a ton of new things. I gotta make sure that my sources of information are good. Lol
