Is this a good graphic card?

As 34erd said, its a nice card for the price. But dont expect to play games like Half Life 2, FEAR, Call of Duty 2, ect, on high settings.

Are there any cards for around the same price that are better?

no.
you'll have to dish out twice that much to get a decent card that'll play those games on still only medium qual.
probably sounds like you'll want a 6600gt at least, maybe a 6800gs or a 7600gt.
i hear ATI's x850xt sells for a decent price/performance ratio.

Whats the difference in a 64-bit card and a 128-bit card or a 256-bit card?
Thats how large the bus is, and i believe it means how much data can be sent at once.

You can play HL2 and COD2 on high settings.....I do it with my Geforce 6200 card... FEAR maybe not, but you can prabally play meduim high, with NO AA

This is a card you might want to consider, from a good brand too, and comes OCed from factory defaults
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143050#DetailSpecs 65$ after rebates.

If it was just 128but or had 8 pipelines it would be a much better card, those are the main thigns holding it back, but it is still a VERY nice card for its price, I just got it. Its only 65$ after the rebate.

What!?!? Farcry is beautifull!!! Have you played it maxed out with HDR?

Look on that Newegg link at the memory clock:

"Memory Clock: 666MHz"

It's a demon card. But, the 64bit bus will be holding you back big time.

I found out a problem with that card, its a PCI Express and my computer only takes PCI and AGP cards, any ideas on PCI or AGP cards that are pretty good with 256mb, for about $70 or less? THANKS!

Outch thats a pretty tight budget to fit something decent.

The ATI 9600XT is nice (128/256MB doesnt matter), but If I were you i'd try to stretch the budget a tad.

I´d say go with 7300GS. You'll get much more performance than with 6500 and it's AGP

My mistake, terribly sorry. Don't know how I could have missed that. Then the 9600XT would be a good choice for a new card. If you're considering refurbished, then a 6600 is much better.
