is this a good PCI graphics card?

Newegg isn't loading for me, so I don't know what the links for... The "best" PCI video card I beleive is a Geforce 5700, or something around that range.

It's ok, but not for playing newer games. One of the best PCI cards you can get is the FX5700LE.

That's just PCI Express, though...right? I thought the 6200 was only offered in PCI-Express(the turbo cache version) and AGP.(Link's still dead for me -.- )

They offer PCI versions as well.

For those who can not view the page, its a PCI version of the 6200 for $27.99.

I have the ATI Radeon 9250 and it is known to be the best video card out there for PCI bus, last time I saw it for sale was 100 US, 150 CND, check out www.ati.com, it should have it for sale at low cost without shipping cost. I can crank BFMEII on 1024x786 (the demo, that is), and run NFS Most Wanted okay, but not the best. Runs Call of Duty 2 just fine and dandy on high settings, and should run BF2. Check out user reviews if you like.

ok, so should i go with the FX5700LE, the 9250 or the 6200. The only thing that baffles me is that the 5700 is priced at like 90.00, the 6200 priced at 28.00, and the 6200 has a 350mzh core clock and the 5700 only has like 240 or 250..?

The FX5700LE is the best PCI card you can buy. The 6200 is newer, but doesnt perform as well.

$100!! LOL Sorry man but you get jipped.

AGP cards are priced higher than PCI-E cards... therefore it would make sense that a pci card would cost even more for the performance it gives. its kind of like how 168-pin dimms cost more than 184-pin dimms per MB and not only that but perform much slower. still faster than a hard drive in most cases though :D
my friend put 4 74gb raptors in RAID 0. i dont know what his read speed was but it was REALLY fast. for a hard drive.

The reason for that is because not as many people are making PCxxx RAM as they used to, so the prices are much higher.

The similar could be said for PCI, since you can find much better AGP/PCI-E cards for the same price as a PCI card.
