Is this a good stand alone GPU water cooling unit?

this is that first link, it looks good. you dont have to put water in there, you can put special coolant that owns water.

are you talking about cooling your CPU? cause that looks good to me

and what are all the parts you need? isnt that all you need?

Depends on what parts he wants to cool but he'll definitely need:

Waterblock
Radiator
Tubes
Coolant
Pump

I don't think that cooler master would be powerful enough to cool the entire system.
