is this a good tv tuner card. will the qualtiy of the picture be good and will a more expensive one be better quality picture than this one or will it be fine

I have one thats a little more expensive than that one and its not that great, cuz of the refresh rates on monitors and the way reg cable comes in you get a weird pic. I think that theyre all the same only difference is the software that comes with it.

I have an ATI ehomewonder... you could probably find it for about $80 now. It has good quality but not GREAT... it is a middle of the pack TV TUNER...

At $30 I doubt the avermedia card really has "High quality"... what kind of monitor or TV are you going to use?

i have a dell 18 inch lcd monitor

can you give me the link to that tv tuner card and is it also a videocard and would it work with my dell 4700 it has a 305 watt powersupply

um, most tv tuner cards won't give u exceptional quality, but if u can deal with it, then about any card will work if its got good software.
also, it helps to know if they offer something like a 30 day exchange if you don't like it.
