Is this a sign that I need to up the CPU voltage when OC'ing?

OK, I have my E6300 Oc'd at 2.814 GHz, thing is, if I go any further it will boot but not post! Does this mean i must up the voltages again? I have upped it .025V and then a little more after that, not as much though. If I want to go further this means I must up the voltage or is it something else?

Just great. I get to 2.899GHz and if I go to 2.9GHz it will not post on start up! I raised to voltage a bit and a bit more and so on (not too much thought) and still nothing. Could this mean I need tho raise the GPU voltage or something? I just got a new full copper dual heatpipe Northbridge chipset cooler so I know that's not over heating. What could be wrong?

Failure to boot usually indicates a memory problem. Either loosen the timings, drop the divider (to lower the speed, and the recommended option) or increase DRAM voltage.

Well I am at 2.933GHz and the problem started again. I raised the RAM voltage by .1V and loosened the timings all by 2. what now?

Edit- my CPU voltage is at 1.42500V, is that safe or should I go down a bit?

OMG....I just found out something......if I turn off my computer and let it sit for 1-1.5 minutes, it will boot fine, but restart is bad, turn off and on in within 5 seconds is bad, what does this mean?

Edit- voltage for CPU is down to 1.37500V now, still lowering. and Rambo, isn't 1.325V stock voltage???

well, I'm stuck at 2.95GHz right now, stables, but not 100%. More like 80% only because of odd start up's. I just shut it off and then on again if it doesn't post, but still something is up. its ashamed that I am only 50MHz away from my goal: 3GHz. any ideas? Rambo what setting do you have yours on?

Well I went back to 2.8GHz which I KNOW was a stable speed but it still does this WTF? HELP! it doesn't make sense!
