Is This Another Job For The Malwarebytes Programme?

Here is more details about the problems I have when I did that thread the other week saying More Problems. I'm just wondering if it might be another job for the malwarebytes programme to do.

Got a cheap computer from Cash Converters when the old one got the blue screen of death. The new one wont recognise things and only detects them for a while then they disconnect like when I put a T-Mobile dongle in it does not work well and keeps cutting off saying it's not reconsigning it. Also I put an mp3 player in and for no reason it wiped all the songs off. Something must be wrong. Also can't get my webcam to work. I know that the dongle worked fine on old computer. Is there a way I can get it and other things to work ok on this new computer?

Getting a computer from this company sounds like a scam. Without knowing the history of this machine, I would format and reinstall windows and see how it reacts. If its still acting funny send it back.

Cash converters are a disgrace, they offer people ridiculous money for there computers, so naturally most people tell them to get lost, then that leaves them with only the worst computers around.

They don`t do any checks apart from that it turns on, i had someone recently bring me a pc they got from cash converter, it was littered with viruses and didn`t even have the basics like up to date service packs.

I would get it taken back before it`s to late.

As stated above don't buy from these guys we've had many customers come to us after bad experiences buying from these.

Try taking it back, don't know what there returns policy is like though.

If you can't, get it tested for malware and other malicious infections and if the problem persists start testing the hardware as the USB ports could be on there way out or dodgy connections.

It might also be worth checking all the drivers, if any are missing or there out of date try updating them, if you can't do it through device manager go to the manufacturers website and download and install them your self.

Worth a shot!

It seems to be. Although, this kind of malware can sometimes be impossible to get rid off. There are numerous ways to hide a program.. I would recommend to format your hard drive.
