Is this any good?

I need a cheap laptop for basic CAD work, is this any good?

I have precisely no idea about laptop specs and processors, but this appears to have a dedicated graphics card with 512mb ram on it, which is surely about the best I'll do at this price level (£400). I'm more worried about the processor - is it going to run everything quickly enough? That is, it's not gonna spend all its time struggling away trying to run windows?

Any ideas, other options, and opinions are very, very welcome.

Cheers

Ok, thanks. I'd prefer not to go refurb, simply because of the disasters I've seen in the past - fair enough I get a warranty, but I can't be arsed sorting it out if it does go wrong!

For something like a laptop I'd prefer to pick it up in a store, so I can go back and shout at them when it breaks...

Is a 2.2ghz AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Processor P340 a bad processor? I realise the i3's are a bit faster, but will I notice? Essentially I need it to present ideas to people - it won't be a main 'working' computer.

Basically, for the most part, I'll be running Sketchup Pro or equivalent, and M/S word/excel.

If this HP can do it I'll just go out and buy it. I just need to know how bad the cpu is!

Cheers
