Well its old and outdated.... For checking email and word processing, satisfactory, for playing games... err.. crap.

Used or new?

I saw a PII being sold for $8

Honestly I wouldn't even bother buying it :o , but if I were to, I would pay about 150 for it.. Ok maybe only $110...

In the future try to use the edit button, you just got promoted to a bronze member for quintople posting.

You cant really upgrade that system for something game worthy, because the motherboard has a PII socket, so a new P4 wont fit. You would be better off just buying something new to tell you the truth, but you may not need something high end, if you are doing school work on it (except photoediting and CAD stuff) you should be fine.

Wait r u using it for games or for text writing and websurfing?

Because I have an old system very similar to yours and my sister uses it for colledge work and its fine fr that stuff.

The P3 500's which passes through my place I take around ~$50-60 bucks for.

Usually with
10GB drive
128 or 256MB RAM
CD-ROM
TNT or GF2MX

BTW the system you've listed, yes it will manage any office related task you need if thats what your after.
