Well currently my system are these specs..

2.8Ghz Pentium 4 HT

2.5GBRAM DDR2 Built as
-1GB 400mhz
-512mb 266Mhz
-512mb 333Mhz
-512mb 333Mhz

Nvidia Geforce 9400 GT 1024MBDDR2 550mhz Core

Along with a crappy 280w PSU
-------------------------------------------------------
Well I ordered a bunch of components the other day and should be here today..

This will be my new setup

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6500 Wolfdale 2.93GHz

Motherboard: ASUS P5G41

3GBDDR2 of RAM as Following
-1GB 400mhz
-2GB 800mhz

And my new PSU is 580w

Along with my Geforce 9400GT 1024mb Still, and a MicroATX Case.

Is this better? And what will be the performance boosts for games, loading programs and everything. Full opinion?

All my parts costed 274 with shipping.

Would have been better to save up for a more current rig, but you should be ok for a while with that. Cool case.

That Sunbeam PSU is poo, though...that's no good.

I'm still learning a lot about computers, but wouldn't removing the "512mb 266Mhz" chip make the computer run faster?

I would cancel the order and save up some more for a better rig. What kind of hdd do you have? What rpm and is it ide or sata?

Also what OS? 32 or 64 bit? Whay the mismatched ram?
