Is this card ok?

I'm looking for something around this price range, can I do any better for the price?

I believe the 8600GT (or GTS if you have the money) outperforms the 2600xt w/ GDDR4 memory in almost every game tested, so a 8600gt with GDDR3 memory would be a better choice.

yeah, I know the GTS beats it, but it costs $40 more

I once found a review with many in game tests but I can't located it anymore. But I found another one, not as good, but still shows that even though the 2600xt scores higher on benchmark tests, the 8600gt(s) still pulls ahead in many games.

Ok, I've ordered the 8600GTS 256mb, by Zotac(?)

Read a review on it, and it sounded really good. Comes with a DVI to HDMI adapter, component adapter, and the 2x 4 pin to pci-e power dongle. Got it for $200, including shipping
