is this computer any good?

Except that they think that its a total of 10.4 ghz and its not. And I believe the hd4200 video is integrated and not a dedicated card.

^ agree'd

and i tihnk those people selling thought that the ATHLON II "X4" means 4 processors, seems like they kinda dont know what there building

i would say it looks fine for its price, could be fine for his use as well.

It is a quad core, but if he is going to be doing video editing, he might want to get a dedicated video card and more memory, cause not sure if 2 gb of memory will suffice for video editing.

it is a quad core. it should be fast enough. the graphics is integrated. i don't know of any ati xx00 graphics cards...

Yeah, you'll need more ram and an actual graphics card. Then it only comes with xp although it says "designed for windows 7". It also comes with a bunch of crap software you don't need and shouldn't pay any more for. I don't know how much things cost in the uk, but that doesnt seem like the best deal, especially considering you have to deal with a small ebay store for warranty and the guy either has no idea how quads work or is trying to fool people.

that guy has a 100% rating with like 400 ratings so he seems legit. he probably is stupid though since he thinks the computer is 10.4 ghz. ha ha ha... any bets on how long it will be until we actually see one of those? my guess is 5+ years.

^ 400 isn't much online. especially since that doesnt mean he's sold 400 built systems. he's only been a member since october and people leave feedback when they get the item before having to try to exchange something under warranty.

oops, i didn't go much beyond the 400 ratings. i guess you probably should proceed with a bit of caution. i personally would never actually buy a pre-built system (more fun that way and usually cheaper).

i like to just stick with regular old computer stores like newegg (unless buying cables, then i go elsewhere where they won't rip me off).
