Is this computer worth the money?

So I was browsing through Newegg just messing around, and decided to look at the pre-built computers.

I came across a computer at what i think is a reasonable price.

Yes, I know the onboard graphics suck, but I am going to put a 8800gt on it

hmmm. it'll be a decent computer. the processor is pretty old but still good (not high end though), it won't bottleneck the 8800gt i think.

If it is just going to be used for general use (Internet, MSN, music) It will be fine with that graphics card, but would be nice to have a better one of course.

But yeah that is alright.....

It seems to be alright for the money, although if you plan to put a 8800 GT in it, you will need to get a better power supply. Remember to count this into the cost as well. A PSU like this would do the job.

its not a bad computer but it is older. if you want to stick with amd like me cuz of the cool core temps then go wit hthe phenom x4 quad core 9600 or higher. the one i got is on new egg for 699

Could do much better. X1250... integrated = stinks. 420W PSU seems... very close.

thanks everyone =D So yes... I am probably going to get a new powersupply with this, but should I get 1 pci-e connector or 2?
