Is this even possible?

With a server you can have dual cual-core opterons, aka 4-cpus. They also offer the nForce4 chipset, and have PCI-E x16. So it is possible, but a bit expensive.

are you talking about something like this :D

Hehe....Chappelles Show!

Yes, this computer is really not an option on the market now, you're friend is retarded "and should be shot."

Ignore the words in the quotations. ""

the last nig*a on earth staring tom hanks lol

sometimes people get a little confused when someone describes dual-core... like alot of times when someone says dual-core at 2.8GHz each core people get the idea that 2 cores each at 2.8Ghz = a 5.6GHz processor.... which is of course not true... so he might be confused in thinking like a dual-core processor overclocked to 4GHz...

that is a possibility, either that or he is just dumb

I doubt greatly that anyone alive is retarded enough to fork out thousands for a pc just to play one really crap game.
Just because you think a game is crap (or more likely, 'hard to learn', doesnt mean other people agree).

Pretty good performance actually, not much behind the usual X2 CPU's
Behind? That would depend on the chip in question.

You can also have dualcore opterons without having 4 cpus and having 4 cpus without them being dualcore or opterons

so he might be confused in thinking like a dual-core processor overclocked to 4GHz...
Most likely but there's "confused and bragging" versus "confused and making mistake"

that is a possibility, either that or he is just dumb
Heh that's a dangerous path to go down

Depends on what you're doing; for the people who know how to setup a system with 32GB of RAM, odds are they are doing something they wish they had 64GBs for....
