is this even worth buying?

Is this mobo even worth it seems shitty to me. MSI 760gm p23. It comes bundled with a processor I really need and together their dirt cheap, like 100 bucks when the processor itself is 100 bucks. This would be used in a budget build, and I would like at least 1600 MHz RAM, so would it work? Please hurry, sale ends soon.

Its a budget board. Will work as good as any one would. Not a good overclocking board. Plus like above, it only officially supports up to 1333. Have no idea if it has multipliers higher then that.

So 1600 ram wouldn't run? It comes with an fx 4300, which by itself is 100 bucks, so its ridiculous. How big of a difference would it make?

The 1600 mhz ram may downclock to 1333 speed but you may have booting issues with some motherboards. If you want to use 1600 mhz ram then buy a board that actually supports it.

But again, you won't notice hardly any difference between 1333 and 1600.

Depends on price too. You can get 2133 for like a few bucks more then 1333. Why not if you have a board that supports it. Plus AMD responds alittle better with higher speed memory then Intel, especially the APUs .

+1 to that video, you want to find a balance between speed and latency, and in all likely hood you wont see a diff with 1600 speed ram over 1333 unless you are leaning on the ram alot. I went from the phenom ii 955 with ddr2 800, to ddr3 1333. Then migrated to the i7 with the same 1333, then went to the same i7 with 1600, and noticed no real difference whatsoever.

I think ill go with a pentium g2858 and an msi h81m p 33, it has good reviews and is cheap. Is it okaym? I want usb 3 and 1600 ram, is it okay
